What Does a Naturopathic Doctor Do?

It depends entirely on specialization. Naturopathic training covers every major modality of natural medicine — from nutrition and botanical medicine to homeopathy and physical therapies. As a practitioner grows, so does the depth and precision of what they offer.

My work sits at the intersection of Metabolic Health, Toxicology, and Restorative Medicine. That means identifying every level of dysfunction — system by system, gland by gland — and building a clear, targeted path back to health. Not suppression. Restoration.

That process begins by stopping what is coming in: dietary toxins, medication residue, environmental chemicals, microplastics, heavy metals. Then we systematically remove what has already accumulated and rebuild what has been depleted. Most patients are surprised by how straightforward it feels from their side — sleep returns, digestion corrects, anxiety settles — while a complex clinical process is quietly doing its work.

How Is a Naturopathic Doctor Trained?

The foundational degree path includes a Bachelor of Science, followed by a Masters and Doctorate in Natural Health. Most practitioners then pursue specialty training in the areas that become their clinical focus.

My extended training includes Botanical Chemistry, Clinical Aromatherapy, Master Herbalism, Orthomolecular Medicine, Toxicology, Advanced Detoxification, Anti-Aging and Restorative Nutritional Medicine, Homeopathy, and over twenty years of exclusive clinical focus on the Forensics of Biochemistry through Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis.

It takes three to five years to become clinically competent in this field. After twenty years, I am still learning every day.

What Will the HTMA Lab Test Do for Me?

The Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is the most comprehensive non-invasive window into your health available. Most people understand from forensic science that hair holds a detailed biological record — criminal justice, drug enforcement, and my field, the Forensics of Biochemistry, all work from the same principle.

Your hair is laboratory-processed through hundreds of measurements, producing a 25-page document that maps the status of every system, tissue, and function in your body. It reveals toxic elements, heavy metal accumulation, mineral ratios, metabolic rate, and up to 65 disease patterns forming in the body — along with exactly why they are forming.

From that map, I build a precise nutritional and detoxification program designed specifically for your biochemistry. Not a generic protocol. A blueprint built from your actual data.

Here is a simple example of how this works in practice. If your body cannot properly metabolize calcium, that calcium does not go to bone — it deposits into soft tissue, producing fibromyalgia-pattern pain. Meanwhile your bone matrix becomes increasingly depleted. Standard testing will not catch this. The HTMA will show it clearly, explain why it is happening, and guide the correction at the gut level where the error originated.

Every adverse health condition has one or both of two root causes: deficiency of the minerals and nutrients the body requires to function, and accumulation of heavy metals or other toxins that disrupt that function. A deficiency is itself a toxicity — when the body is depleted, it signals distress. Those signals are a language. My work is to read that language accurately and correct the cause, not silence the message.

Heavy metals have no safe level in the human body. They cross the placental barrier — patients can be born carrying them. They accumulate silently for decades. And they are far more common than conventional medicine acknowledges.

My results are built on one principle: align the body with what it actually needs, remove what does not belong, and let it do what it was designed to do.

No side effects. Only side benefits.

Where there is suppression, there is deception.
