How Dr. Rose Works
Most people assume a naturopathic doctor does the same thing as every other natural health practitioner. The reality is that naturopathic medicine is a broad field, and every practitioner eventually develops areas of specialization.
My work sits at the intersection of Metabolic Health, Toxicology, Nutritional Medicine, and Restorative Medicine.
For more than twenty years, I have focused on the Forensics of Biochemistry through Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), helping patients identify hidden dysfunction long before it becomes advanced disease.
Rather than suppressing symptoms, my work focuses on identifying why symptoms developed in the first place.
This process begins by identifying what is interfering with normal physiology:
Nutritional deficiencies
Heavy metals
Environmental toxins
Medication burden
Digestive dysfunction
Metabolic imbalance
Chronic stress patterns
Once the obstacles are identified, we create a structured plan to remove what does not belong and restore what has been depleted.
The body is remarkably intelligent when given the proper conditions to heal.
Advanced Clinical Training
My foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctorate in Natural Health.
Advanced specialty training includes:
Botanical Chemistry
Clinical Aromatherapy
Master Herbalism
Orthomolecular Medicine
Toxicology
Advanced Detoxification
Homeopathy
Anti-Aging & Restorative Nutritional Medicine
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Interpretation
Clinical competence in this field requires years of study. After more than two decades in practice, I continue to learn every day because every patient presents a unique biochemical story.
What Is Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis?
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is the primary laboratory tool used within my practice.
Hair provides a long-term record of mineral status, metabolic patterns, and toxic element accumulation that often cannot be detected by standard blood tests alone.
The laboratory report evaluates:
Essential minerals
Toxic elements
Metabolic rate patterns
Mineral relationships
Stress response patterns
Energy production pathways
This information allows me to develop a program tailored specifically to your biochemistry rather than relying on generic recommendations.
Why Symptoms Matter
Symptoms are not random.
They are messages.
When the body lacks the minerals and nutrients required for normal function, or when toxic elements interfere with normal physiology, symptoms begin to appear.
Examples may include:
Fatigue
Anxiety
Insomnia
Brain fog
Chronic pain
Digestive dysfunction
Hormonal imbalance
Inflammation
Immune dysfunction
My role is to identify why those symptoms developed and, whenever possible, address the underlying causes, whenever possible.
Toxicology Matters
Heavy metals and environmental toxins have become a significant part of modern life.
They may be found in:
Food
Water
Household products
Personal care products
Medications
Occupational exposures
Building materials
Consumer goods
And Parasites.
Part of every successful restoration program involves identifying ongoing sources of exposure and reducing the incoming toxic burden while supporting the body's natural detoxification processes.
Stopping the incoming load is often just as important as removing what has already accumulated.
A Different Approach
My work is based on a simple principle:
Provide the body with what it needs.
Remove what does not belong.
Allow physiology to function as designed.
When the underlying causes are addressed, symptoms often improve naturally as a consequence of restoration.
When you are ready to begin, I would be honored to help.

Nationally Board-Certified Naturopathic Doctor
WHAT THIS PRACTICE IS NOT
This practice does not provide emergency care, urgent care, active disease management, or symptom management services.
Although some individuals seeking care may have active diagnoses or ongoing medical concerns, each person must maintain an appropriate relationship with their healthcare providers and establish their own care order with those practitioners.
My role focuses on health restoration, nutritional assessment, metabolic function, toxicology, and the identification of Toxic factors that may limit recovery.
